Questions, answers and pro tips.

How to apply each label so it stays on, plus everything about orders and delivery.

Applying labels

What is the best way to apply a stick-on label?

Apply it to a clean, dry surface. Peel it off the backing without folding it and touch the sticky side as little as possible, because the natural oils on your skin weaken the bond. Press firmly, smooth out air bubbles and do not lift it to check.

How long before I can wash it?

Wait at least 24 to 48 hours. That gives the adhesive time to bond properly before the first wash or dishwasher cycle.

Which surfaces should I avoid?

Greasy, very textured, silicone and non-stick surfaces. Do not use labels on pots, pans or anything that goes into the oven.

Can labelled items go in the dishwasher?

Yes. Put them on the top shelf.

Stick-on clothing labels

What are stick-on clothing labels?

Adhesive name labels for the care tag. There is no ironing or sewing. They are waterproof, washing machine safe and tumble-dryer safe.

Are they safe for children?

The material is described as environmentally friendly and safe for skin, including children’s skin.

What else can I stick them on?

Shoes, bags, fabric stationery bags, hats, socks, underwear, boxes, gift packaging, cups, lunch boxes, water bottles and school supplies.

Iron-on labels

How do iron-on labels work?

They bond permanently to fabric with a household iron. The adhesive melts into the fabric and stays soft after washing.

How do I iron them on?

Place the label on the care tag, cover it with the protective sheet that comes with your order and iron on the cotton setting with no steam. Steam adds moisture and weakens the bond.

What are they not for?

Shoes, water bottles and notebooks. Use stick-on, shoe or versatile labels for those.

Versatile labels

What are versatile labels?

Durable, multi-purpose stick-on labels for school supplies, containers, lunch boxes, bottles, books and electronics. They are waterproof and scratch-proof.

Can they go in the microwave and dishwasher?

Yes, they are made for daily wear including the dishwasher (top shelf) and the microwave.

Can I use them on clothes?

No. Versatile labels are not for fabric. Use clothing or iron-on labels for clothes.

Wrap-around pen and pencil labels

How do wrap-around labels work?

A white printed area sits under a larger clear section. Stick the printed part on first, then wrap the clear part tightly around so it covers the name and sticks to itself.

What can I label with them?

Pencils, pens, crayons, felt-tips, highlighters, paintbrushes, straws, charger cords, spoons and even golf clubs, as long as the label can wrap around the item.

What are they made of?

Eco-friendly vinyl with non-toxic, waterproof ink.
